WIRELESS OPERATOR SYLLABUS: আজ আমরা West Bengal Poice Recruitment Board দ্বারা পরিচালিত Wireless Operator Exam এর syllabus এবং Question Pattern নিয়ে আলোচনা করবো।
Wireless Operators এর কাজ হলো দূরবর্তী স্থানের মধ্যে radio transmitter এর সাহায্য যোগাযোগ রক্ষা করা। এই Post  এর মাধ্যমে Wireless opertaors Exam এর সিলেবাস, নম্বর বিভাজন ও Question Pattern আপনাদের সুবিধার্থে  সরবরাহ করা হলো।

WIRELESS OPERATOR SYLLABUS । Question Pattern

 

METHOD OF RECRUITMENT

 
A. Preliminary Examination (Full Marks – 100) : –
 
Preliminary Examination shall be from the following subjects:-
i. General Knowledge & Current Affairs: 40 Marks
ii. Mathematics: 20 Marks
iii. Everyday Physical Science: 20 Marks
iv. Logical and Analytical Reasoning: 20 Marks
Question Pattern:
  • There would be 100 objective type questions having multiple choice (four choices) of answers carrying equal marks each.
  • The duration of this examination will be 1:30 hours (one hour thirty minutes).
  • Question paper will be set in two languages (Bengali & Nepali).
B. PHYSICAL MEASUREMENT TEST (PMT):
The physical standards [height, weight and chest (for Male candidates only)] of the candidates as mentioned
under 3 (F) will be tested by using electronic machines of those who qualify in the Preliminary Examination.
C. PHYSICAL EFFICIENCY TEST (PET) :
Candidates who qualify in PMT will be allowed to take part in PET
D. FINAL COMPETITIVE EXAMINATION: – Full Marks – 85
Candidates qualified in Physical Measurement Test (PMT) & Physical Efficiency Test (PET) will have to appear in the Final Competitive Examination which will be taken in 2 (two) parts as follows:-
  • Part – I:- Physics and Mathematics (10+2 level) [Full Marks – 70]:- This part will be an OMR based MCQ type examination of 1 (one) hour duration having 70 (seventy) MCQ type questions carrying equal mark each. Question will be set in English only. Note :- There will be NEGATIVE marking for each incorrect answer. ¼th of the allotted marks for a particular question will be deducted for each incorrect answer.
  • Part – II:- Language Test (Full Marks – 15) :- A translation sheet will be provided to translate a passage from English to Bengali/Nepali as the case may be. Duration of this part is 30 (thirty) minutes
E. PERSONALITY TEST: – Full Marks – 15
A limited number of candidates fulfilling all the eligibility criteria for the post will be called for a personality test
on the basis of merit, based on the result of the Final Competitive Examination. These tests will be for 15 (fifteen)
marks.

SYLLABUS OF WIRELESS OPERATOR

(A) SYLLABUS OF PRELIMINARY EXAMINATION:-
 
Physics:
  • Mechanics : 1D Motion, 2D Motion, Relative Motion, Uniform Circular Motion, Newton’s 3 Laws, Kinetic Energy, Potential Energy, Conservation of Mechanical Energy, Conservation of Total Energy, Impulse, Momentum and Angular Momentum, Simple Harmonic Motion, Pendulums.
  • Oscillations and Waves :
    Periodic motion – period, frequency, displacement as a function of time. Periodic functions. Simple
    harmonic motion (S.H.M) and its equation; phase; oscillations of a spring-restoring force and force
    constant; energy in S.H.M.- kinetic and potential energies; simple pendulum-derivation of expression for
    its time period; free, forced and damped oscillations (qualitative ideas only), resonance.
    Wave motion. Longitudinal and transverse waves, speed of wave motion. Displacement relation for a
    progressive wave. Principle of superposition of waves, reflection of waves, standing waves in strings and
    organ pipes, fundamental mode and harmonics, Beats, Doppler effect.
  • Current Electricity:
    Electric current, flow of electric charges in a metallic conductor, Ohm’s law, electrical resistance, V-I
    characteristics (linear and non-linear) electrical energy and power, electrical resistivity and conductivity.
  • Electromagnetic induction:
    Kirchoffs’ laws and simple applications. Electromagnetic Induction and Alternating Currents.
  • Electromagnetic waves :
    Electromagnetic waves and their characteristics (qualitative ideas only). Transverse nature of
    electromagnetic waves. Electromagnetic spectrum (radio waves, microwaves, infrared visible, ultraviolet,
    Xrays, gamma rays) including elementary facts about their uses.
Computer Application:
  • I. Basic knowledge in Computer
  • II. Operating Computer using GUI based Operating System
  • III. Understanding Word Processing
  • IV. Using Spread Sheet
  • V. Communication using the Internet
  • VI. Presentation using Power Point.
Mathematics:
  • i. Algebra :
  • Irrational numbers, Arithmetic Progression, Quadratic Equations, Logarithm, Laws of Indices.
  • ii. Trigonometry:
  • Associated angles, Compound angles, Multiple Angles.
  • iii. Co-ordinate Geometry:
  • Equations of straight lines, equations of Circles.
  • iv. Calculus :
  • Limit, Differentiation, Integration
B. SYLLABUS OF FINAL COMPETITIVE EXAMINATION:-
 
Physics:
i. Mechanics :

ii. Oscillations and Waves :
Periodic motion – period, frequency, displacement as a function of time. Periodic functions. Simple
harmonic motion (S.H.M) and its equation; phase; oscillations of a spring-restoring force and force

iii. Current Electricity:

Carbon resistors, colour code for carbon resistors; series and parallel combinations of resistors;
temperature dependence of resistance. Internal resistance of a cell, potential difference and emf of a cell,
combination of cells in series and in parallel. Elementary idea of secondary cells. Kirchoffs’ laws and simple applications. Wheatstone bridge, metre bridge. Potentiometer – principle and its applications to
measure potential difference and for comparing emf of two cells; measurement of internal resistance of a
cell.
iv. Electromagnetic induction and Alternating Currents:
Faraday’s laws, induced emf and current; Lenz’s Law, peak and rms value of alternating current/voltage;
reactance and impedance; LC oscillations (qualitative treatment only), LCR series circuit, resonance; power
in AC circuits, wattless current.
v.Electromagnetic waves :
Electromagnetic waves and their characteristics (qualitative ideas only). Transverse nature of
electromagnetic waves. Electromagnetic spectrum (radio waves, microwaves, infrared visible, ultraviolet,
Xrays, gamma rays) including elementary facts about their uses.
vi. Electronic Devices :
Energy bands in solids, conductors, insulators and semiconductors; semiconductor diode – I-V
characteristics in forward and reverse bias, diode as a rectifier; I-V characteristics of LED, photodiode,
solar cell and Zener diode; Zener diode as a voltage regulator. Junction transistor, transistor action,
characteristics of a transistor; transistor as an amplifier (common emitter configuration) and oscillator.
Logic gates (OR, AND, NOT, NAND and NOR). Transistors as a switch.
vii.Communication Systems:
Propagation of electromagnetic waves in the atmosphere, sky and space wave propagation. Need for
modulation. Production and detection of an amplitude- modulated waves.
Computer Application:
I. Basic knowledge in Computer
II. Operating Computer using GUI based Operating System
III. Understanding Word Processing
IV. Using Spread Sheet
V. Communication using the Internet
VI. Presentation using Power Point.
VII. www and Web Browser
VIII. Communication and Collaboration.
Mathematics:
i. Algebra :
Irrational numbers, Arithmetic Progression, Geometric Progression, Quadratic Equations, Logarithm,
Laws of Indices, Set theory.
ii. Trigonometry:
Associated angles, Compound angles, Multiple Angles, Sub-multiple angles.
iii. Co-ordinate Geometry:
Equations of straight lines, equations of Circles.
iv. Calculus :
Limit, Differentiation, Integration, maximum and minimum values of functions.
 MEDICAL EXAMINATION:-
(a) All provisionally selected candidates will be sent for Medical Examination at the State Government
designated hospitals.
(b) The candidates will undergo all necessary medical tests as prescribed by the Department of Health and Family Welfare, Government of West Bengal from time to time.
(c) The certificate of medical fitness will be issued by an authorized medical officer
